A question for Parents…Are you angry about performers who act like role models only for the money?
Today there is big money for those performers that get the seal of approval from parents. These performers are usually fake and are doing it for the money only. I understand this, but the real damage is when they show kids that saying anything to get what you want pays big bucks! Artist’s that come out and embrace the role model stance and then cave into pressure to go trashy are both sad, and dishonest.
Years ago there were singers and models that wouldn’t give into plastic surgery….Barbara Streisand refused a nose job, Laura Hutton refused fixing the space between her teeth, Farah Faucet refused a breast enhancement surgery…etc. So many of the young stars of today don’t care as long as they get the money. They’re prostituting themselves for money and they don’t have a clue what integrity is! I should end this by saying not all are this way. I guess like everything else the losers get all the air time.
It shows how important it is for parents to stay involved.
I don’t hold anyone in Hollywood as a role model. Far too many drunks, cheats, and liars there.
I live to be a role model, and people near us who live in the way I want my kids to live.
